And CNN's evidently concerned that their future is ruined.

Think they're sad because they've realised they did something wrong, or because they now have to go to prison and live with this on their record?

Or, you know, eliminate the cartels . Really, shouldn't this be obvious? Oh, I'm perfectly ok with that, yes. I don't value tradition for it's own sake. We don't need to entirely get rid of existing groups, mind you, but monopolies are pretty obviously problematic, and we definitely shouldn't enabl...

Another reason is because the lawyers in most states are required to join a mandatory union. Milton Friedman has pointed out the effects of mandatory licensing, which is to act as a method to restrict supply, in essence functioning as a cartel. For instance, the American Medical Association once (d...

I dunno, if minimum wage laws were abolished, I would expect traditionally minimum wage jobs to start paying lower. Okay, so if I'm understanding this correctly, libertarians believe that people should be free to choose their work, that companies should be free to choose their employees, and there should by no means be any system in place to equalise the asymmetry of the bargaining position? Carmen Ortiz, evidently not content with the small potatoes of killing people who do real work for a living (i.e., people who don't practice law), will appeal Judge Dein's denial of the civil forfeiture of a motel allegedly serving as a facilitator of drugs. “This case was strictly a law-enforcemen...
