Re: Battlefield 3

No commander role? Seriously? I always felt like that gave BF2 a significant extra layer of depth. Bummer. It did, if you had someone who knew what they were doing. Most people didn't want to do it. Those who did would quarrel over it, or didn't know how to use it correctly. It's a shame, really. I...

Last night, I dreamt that I was part of a group that was meditating. Everytime we would start, I would levitate slightly, and disturb everyone else.

Re: Photography thread.

This event happens every year, doesn't it? It's unusual, but not a bad idea.

As for the water bottle, there was a slight break where the team member went to take a drink, and the ball moved to his location. The caps in his other hand, and he forgot about the water.

We sit in on classes. With 40-50 ANA soldiers in one room, it can be ripe sometimes, especially on Wednesdays.

In other news, farting has been banned in A-Stan, because it's offensive to the locals. Meanwhile dropping a deuce behind a wall in a marketplace is still socially acceptable. Sanitation: Afghans don't have it. I have to take 4 claritin just so I don't have to blow my nose in front of our counterpa...

Nice photos, man. My favorites are the moon, the football game, and the flower. Those stand out the most for clarity, good composition, and good lighting. Re: Homemade Spy Drone displayed at Black Hat Conference

I actually have friends who go to black hat conferences. Once they made a homemade sleep lab, and another time a lie detector. It's generally doing things because they can. The fact that it's illegal to make a lot of these things just isn't something they care about (though most do try and hide the...

The two security researchers created the spy plane as a proof of concept to show what criminals, terrorists and others might also soon be using for their nefarious activities. Let's hinder terrorists by publicizing a method they hadn't though of but could easily implement! I would have more respect...

Homemade Spy Drone displayed at Black Hat Conference

http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/2011/08/blackhat-drone/ What do you do when the target you’re spying on slips behind his home-security gates and beyond your reach? This was going to be one game that I would have absolutely bought on the PC (I play mostly console for the ease and intigration of services, as well as the common hardware), but after hearing what EA is doing with origin, I think I might just stick to the 360.
