Conditioning: rope intervals

The rest of the weekend was surprisingly active, including an involuntary 20k bike trip (which gave me a massive sunburn), lots of rowing, a 1000m uninterrupted swim... All of these made me question why I did a conditioning session to begin with :D

The best advice I can really give you for now is to go on amazon and buy Al Kavadlo's ebook 'pushing the limits'. Seriously, it's ten bucks and it'll keep you covered for a looooong time as far as zero equipment training goes.

rope skipping intervals:

5 minutes continuous skipping - rest 60 seconds
5 x 60 seconds (sprint in place) - rest 30 seconds between intervals
5 x 30 seconds (sprint in place) - rest 15 seconds between intervals

Nath, I stopped doing PLP after hitting 60 reps/day because

- I didn't see any results in performance and/or appearance
and, more importantly
- my right wrist started acting up. It's probably a tendonitis but I can't be sure. Again, if you want to do this, get a pair of rings.

Oh. That's very nearly identical to my training, except that I do weighted chins both days, and a little more assistance work. And SAMBO instead of BJJ. High five! Especially since Sambo and BJJ are fairly similar in terms of physical stress. If I were you I would do it but do less assistance work ...
