Game_boy, have you seen this thread? It's a general guide to playing with low APM by a diamond player who similarly has a very low APM due to medical reasons. You might find it helpful.

Re: Diablo III

Looks like I didn't lose any DPS from the IAS nerf, though I'm only in Act 4 Nightmare right now. I did go and combine all my gems, and it only cost me ~6k (I've been sitting on a LOT of gems). The reduced cost of leveling up the gemcutter/blacksmith will be nice on my EU account, where I haven't ha...

New HotS updates . I wasn't too impressed with the HotS updates when they were first announced last year, but after seeing the battle report I'm actually happy about most of what I've seen. They don't make it clear in the first video, but the mothership core is a fairly early-game upgrade, and late...

I voted 2 because I think that's the *minimum* that needs to happen. I also think there should be an effort to make sure that the ones posted are not clear scams -- otherwise, as long as it's not an overt scam, people can decide for themselves whether a given kickstarter has merit (with the caveat t...

Yeah, you only get six skills, changing one skill will change how you play quite a bit. Changing one rune on the same skill depends on which runes you compare, though. Some don't change much, but some completely change how a skill is actually played. Saying it's the same as a 1 skill point differenc...

The developers have stated that they try to hide a lot of the complexity of the interface so as not to overwhelm more casual players (see: elective mode off by default). I don't know if I agree with it, but that's their philosophy.

Pretty cool finale, if a bit hand wavy. So fine, sure, Diablo all along wanted to reunite all the evils into himself to become one mega-prime evil. Fine, whatever, I'll accept that; why does killing his body somehow 'defeat the legions of hell forever'? Isn't that the point, that th...

in Diablo 3 those decisions are all made by the server, and then your client is informed of what happened. Yeah, no, it's perfectly possible to do this locally. I don't see how the skill of the player affects the depth of the choice. Because I've defined "depth" as "requiring player skill". That's certainly not the only valid definition of depth, but it's the one Gel seems to be using. It's also not the only axis that's relevant to judg...

Yeah, Gel, you seem to be under the impression that because the mechanics of D3's skill system are different from D2 that somehow there are fewer options than there were in D2. The difference between 'selecting the start of your build al lvl 0, lvl 1, or lvl 5' in the face of respeccing, is to me completely moot. Especially given the scope of the game. Another suggestion I liked was to have Carriers spawn with four interceptors instead of zero--it slightly reduces the cost of creating them, and saves 32 seconds of build time without affecting non-Carrier Stargate units (which are pretty balanced at present)
