And everything about honey not going bad is true. I've had jars of honey sit in cabinets for literally ten years or more and still be perfectly good (if very, very crystallized.) Honey is naturally quite long-lived: Archaeologist T.M. Davies discovered [a] 3,300-year-old jar of honey in an Egyptian...

Re: suggestions for jazz/blues bands?

More specifically though, can anyone suggest some really good, really fast jazz? I tend to like extremely upbeat music. Breakneck would be a good word to describe the pace I like. John Coltrane's 'Countdown' (off Giant Steps ) would be right up your alley, then. Interesting tidbit: the rest of the ...

To a certain extent, I still see myself as I was in high school, which was very, very thin, but not at all unhealthy. Precisely. That. I certainly wasn't as athletic as you say you were when you were thinner, but I never noticed any health-related issues stemming from being thin(ner) either. Oh me ...

You might also consider working out once a week with cardio, either biking or running. I find I get more out of running but that may just be me. Running (treadmill) does seem a bit more intensive than a stationary bike, yes. Right now I do five minutes on the bike as warm-up and 10-15 minutes at th...

Hitting the gym two times a week--good for anything?

Hi everybody. I've signed up at a nearby gym after some 12 years with no physical activity, partly thanks to this forum. So far I've mostly stuck to various machines, the names of which I don't even know in my native Spanish, that appear to exercise individual muscles through weight lifting. I'm not...

Just how well-known are Los Natas outside of Argentina? I mean, even here they've never enjoyed much more than a cult following. They're really good though, I've got their Delmar/Ciudad de Brahmán CD and it's damn good, especially Ciudad de Brahmán.

Me is 'I', gustar is the verb 'to like' and 'tu' is 'you'. The secret here is in the verb declension. Yo gusto tu would mean I like you. Most of the soul stuff I like is already on your list (I want to add 'Trouble in Mind Blues' by Nina Simone, but it's not really a soul number.) Would it be wrong, though, to say that the backing track to Serge Gainsbourg's 'Je T' Aime' (or however that's spelled) totally belongs in said list as well?
