Re: Movie night. [temporary hiatus...help wanted]

Hey, I would be happy to do this, I even have an idea on what movies to watch! http://forums.xkcd.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=51075 You would just have to post the movies you've seen, and the movie that no one's seen or the one that has the least amount of people who have seen it would be out next ...

Re: The Humoungous Oscar Movie List (Best Picture)

Why not go back further?Admittedly not too far,I mean, back in the day,you might get one good film a year, which would sweep the awards, most years you could count on one movie getting at least seven until about the 60's,Ben Hur was when it started getting ridiculous, also,if you go back too far,you'll...

The Humoungous Oscar Movie List (Best Picture)

Okay, so I've been on a bit of a thing with watching every single Oscar winning movie made since 1970, and was wondering if anyone would like to join me in watching some of the movies I haven't gotten to yet, or at least telling what you have seen so I can add you to the list. 1970s 1970 Patton - ps...

Worst Food Decisions, or WHY DID I EAT THAT URGRGRBLEH

Ever eat something that you made or ordered that you really, really regretted? Something along the lines of what I do..... pretty much all the time? Re: Ranking: Best Albums Ever

One big problem with this that never occurred in other fora is that when I posted this a lot more people posted their upvotes or downvotes, so the whole thing was a lot more spread out and didn't rely on one person upvoting their favorite album. It became one big battle, but the outcome would be so ...

To be honest, rankings here are more likely to come from individuals who feel strongly about albums they like. e.g. I think I'm fairly responsible for the boosting of WYWH to no.1. Possibly restricting people to a limited number of votes might work? How about... One post per day. Also: Add of Montr...

I've seen California fires and those aren't cool. It gets heartbreaking for a...
