Re: Rant Thread : For all your obscenity screaming needs

Yeah. I'd really like to get into tabletop role-playing. Apart from people on here though I've got no-one in my current friend groups who is the right sort of geek for that. As well as playing I think I might eventually really enjoy GM-ing because I love constructing imaginary worlds and setting st...

Most of the spoilers seem to be Season 2, or the finale of Season 1, since that's when the thread was started. I'd avoid them until I caught up, if I were you. There's only 60-something episodes so far. If you've gone through the first 30 in a couple days, you should be caught up soon. We should pr...

Re: Rant Thread : For all your obscenity screaming needs

If your group plays fast and loose with the rules then it's even more important to respect the GM calls. When an issue pops up, the DM makes a call. If you don't agree, say so and maybe give a brief explanation. If the DM sticks with the call, that's that. End of story at least until after the game ...

There's so much stuff we can look closer in our own neighbourhood before looking for extra-solar targets. I mean, we can try to throw something at Titan lakes and see what's in there! Or maybe go under the ice layer of Europa and check that potencial juicy ocean?

Pump Six and Other Stories, by Paolo Bacigalupi

This is a collection of 10 short speculative fiction stories, most taking part in near-future dystopias which some people might find disturbing or depressing, but I highly recommend it. Some stories are weaker then others, but most of them are great.
