Re: "Morning" Discussion

True story: The other day, at my workbench, I wrote down an equipment serial number on a Post-It note, and then carried the note over to my computer to type in to the asset tracking database. I instinctively hit [CTRL]+[V] and was momentarily confused when the serial number didn't get pasted in. A ...

Re: Making Rules

The way we always did it you had to say something that rhymed with the color, generally something stupid because that's how it works out, but, for example, for "No punch back" it'd have to be a "Punch Buggy Black," since Yellow or Blue or anything doesn't rhyme with back, you'd ...

Damn right children are barbaric. William Golding had it right when he wrote "Lord of the Flies." Precious little snowflakes and our hope for the future they may be, but given half a chance they are all cruel, vicious little bastards :-)

Re: Making Rules

Ah, but what about the situation where there's a red and a blue buggy, and I only see the red one, and you only see the blue one? Say the red one is on my side of the car, and the blue one on yours. If I don't name the colour of the buggy when I pummel you, neither of us would know you're perfectly...

Re: Making Rules

Colors (and punch buggy) are for the Northeast, where you are more likely to see them, and thus likely to see more than one at once. When observing 2+ punch buggies, color become important to denote which one has the "no punch back" associated with it. I.e., if there is both a red and a b...

Re: Making Rules

What the hell is this stupid-ass "punch buggy" and then the color crap? Lame. While you're halfway through saying "punch buggy yellow" I will have already said "slug bug" and cold-cocked your stupidly-named-game-playing ass. Much more expedient. Some one says "bugg...

Another variation of the naked in public dream I've had is where I realize I'm naked, but just don't care. Everyone else realizes I'm naked too, but instead of laughing or making a fuss, they act more or less normally with maybe a hint of annoyance or uncomfortable politeness. Like me being naked is...

I'm surprised no one's mentioned the classic "Naked in Public" dream yet. Where you're out in public and all of a sudden you realize that you're naked or not wearing any pants. For me it always happened that I saw that no one, even people who were talking to me, realized that I was naked, ...

Wow. That's a pretty fucked up dream. I particularly like the juxtaposition of the detailed drawing of the boat against the plain line drawing of the computer lab and vice versa in panels 4-7. Also, I really like being able to use "juxtaposition" in a sentence. I rarely get the opportunity.

I want to see the creation of symphonic orchestra games like this, a la Violin Hero or Bassoon Hero. Now that would be badass.
