The scorpions are easy. Just backpeddle and slam them with your weapon of choice.

Reavers, however, I sympathize with. It feels like I'm trying to fight a behemoth, only it's fast and more common. Not to mention the bug with all the new enemies where bullets don't even hit/damage them...

I see a hardcore gamer as a couple different things. OP wasn't wrong, but I also think some hardcore gamers are gamers who play almost ONE game exclusively, and even enter tournaments. And they're a massive fanboy to the one game or series they play.
