Re: Reading PNG Comments (and other textual data)

I know that GIMP lets you read them, though I'm not sure you're looking for an entire image editing program.

If you want to look at them in GIMP then open the image and then go to the menu>image>image properties then click on the comment tab.

Re: Mario Kart

I'm a mario kart DS fan, I'm jsut working on getting 3 stars on all of the mirror mode cups.
The character doesn't make any difference on the DS so I normally go for the skeleton turtle thing with the shell car which is easily the nippiest.

I've got a Thinkpad X60s which I'm really happy with and wrote a bit about previously. The X61s is also out now with very similar features and there is also the very promising looking X300.

Re: Where can I find a tiny, sturdy laptop?

While it may not be as small as the Eee, I have recently purchased a Thinkpad X60s which is on a similar scale to the Macbook air, at 0.5mm thicker and smaller in both other dimensions (26.8x2x21.1 cm). The X60s has a full size keyboard with only the keys at the edges cut off, this makes touch typin...

Yes!

I haven't played it that much recently but I've been streaming music to it across the room due to lack of speakers by my bed.

SSH is pretty useful too. :D
