The wiki says that "The second will destroy 23 castles and NOT become active. (these 23 are added to the total castles wasted by trebuchets). " I'm assuming that should read "wasted by waves"?

I'm unsure how erosion works in game. It appears to be that if you have slightly less than the number of castles you need to meet your wave requirements, then the waves destroy 20% fewer. Ah. OK. I won't press them then. Buying the Molpies is difficult because I'm only on 5 sand per mNP, and you need 5,000 sand, which means building enough castles so that the sand cost of a castle is higher than 5,000. Actually, in most of the U.K. a highway is any way open to the public with a right of way. A motorway is a highway, and so is a single-track muddy path. In Scotland it is somewhat less relevant as we have the right to roam, so the concept of a highway really only applies to motorised vehicles.
