Re: Invitational - Dexterafia: D1 Murder at Miami Metro

I'm not comfortable with the Az lynch, the WWS lynch appears to have some solid backing to it...and that's enough for me, given the deadline. (At this point, I realize I'm just on the bandwagon, but it's better than letting the day pass in silence.)

What is it, I can't see. You can find an Internet forum for pretty much anything, from fans of My Little Pony to people who like to get peed on by fans of My Little Pony. So at first glance, the Bloody Board, a forum for fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, seems comfortingly normal. They post tweets ...

You could also go the other direction from vacuum--get an air compressor or something (canned air? more expensive, but can be bought in little bits)--and try to blow it off. At least, this is commonly how I clean electronics.

Re: Invitational - Dexterafia: D1 Murder at Miami Metro

D1 lynches always bother me. In general, I feel like D1 lynches are generally not going to be that high quality--even if you manage to grab some evidence and go after someone, it's often a pretty tenuous connection. So I'm ok with a lurker lynch, as it allows us to proceed to N1, where we will hopef...

I strongly disagree. There's no sign that the witches cast any sort of spell on Macbeth--his descent into, er, the plot happens entirely due to him and Lady M. Sure, the witches make a prediction, but their prediction is only "one day, you'll be king"--Lady Macbeth (well, it crosses his mi...

But he controls and channels his nature into killing killers. He doesn't generally kill once a night - each kill takes a lot of prep work, both in making sure he has a definite killer, and in planning how he gets them without leaving any evidence. THat's my reasoning anyway. Canon "once a nigh...

Re: Invitational - Dexterafia: D1 Murder at Miami Metro

From what I know, Dexter's basic description is that he (a) has a compulsion to kill and (b) directs that compulsion towards other killers. To me, that sounds more like vig than SK. As for analyzing the Dexter rolespec, I would say that it's usually a bad idea to evaluate people based on honest and ...

Well, if you're referring to the link between relativity and nuclear weapons, I believe the famous E=mc 2 appeared in an addendum Einstein published a few months after his original paper, so late 1905 or early 1906 most likely. Well, no, obviously players should still be unable to carry everything at once, but actually counting out your pounds of gold and weaponry doesn't add anything, I feel, compared to a more ad-hoc system of "no, it's too big."

Isn't there some theory that states that energy can be converted into matter and visa-versa? Yeah, but the ratio is the wrong way around for that. E=mc 2 , and c 2 = 9 x 10^ 16 m 2/s[sup]2 [/sup]. So you need a toooooon of energy to make any matter. (Alternately, you don't need much matter to make ...

When I was in tenth grade, we did an experiment with a spring-loaded device that fired small ball bearings.
