Re: "Reset" Discussion

hahah, shaking your fist at each individual responsible for the time I've wasted online is a scary thought. I imagine that sort of excessive fist shaking would have to lead to carpal tunnel, or somthing along those lines. I don't know about fist-shaking, but what we did yesterday in group effort pr...

Oh, yes! :D Utterly! Seconded! Juicily mindless brutality, shackled to hormones, hah! I loved the movie, too.

Re: POST HERE FIRST - INTRO THREAD THE THIRD

I'm FAR too open, there's nothing I could tell my best friend that I wouldn't feel be happy to say to a stranger, yet despite this (probably BECAUSE of this, actually), I'm very often misunderstood, to disasterous consequences. ...! Someone else feels like this, too?! Gasp! Honestly, though, honest...

Re: Discussion about Your Mom

Me: ... yeah, I'm pretty much blind without my glasses. Not literally, but... Guy: Your MOM'S blind. Me: ::Look of shock, anger, and repressed tears. Really good fake repressed tears:: Actually... she IS. ::glares:: Followed by about 15 seconds of horrified, pale-faced silence. Guy:: (stammering) D...

Re: Atlas Shrugged

... oh my god! You two have just utterly made my day . I haven't laughed that hard in a long while. On to the subject matter: oh dear! I think they can really just utterly ruin this. But then, I didn't think a book about a railway corporation was going to capture my attention - and it did - so maybe...

Re: Ever tried?

I'm utterly addicted to writing, but I don't really have the attention span for a book. I wrote a five chapter story for a good friend of mine once, though. It's the only work I've ever written in second person, and it requires very attentive reading, because there's really no way at all that you ca...

Re: Ayn Rand

In hopes what follows will be somewhat coherent: I think I will never understand the hate for this woman. But then, I picked up Atlas Shrugged at random and read through it and liked the style. There were some silly bits that I ended up skipping across (the entire scene(s) in the hidden valley, for ...

Hm, all right - granted. In that case, the fights weren't challenging at all, and $my_statement_about_it_being_a_mere_Alien_sniping_movie++

...there's raptor porn? In that case, I'm surprised: there may be hope for the porn-industry, yet! *first casual interest finally spawned* Unfortunately, I'm still one post away from being allowed to link to websites (this marks the third post where I [at least inwardly] lament this), or I would lin...

Re: Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem

I'll give you a hint - it was a case of mistaken identities and misplaced problem priorities. :P

It wasn't awfully funny.
But it was a joke.
Or at least very, very obviously supposed to be one.

Re: "Reset" Discussion

I've found that for entirely inexplicable reasons, playing reset-tag is fun. (The idea is to rule the "Last reset by" line, with the only extra rule being that you may never click twice in succession, so just clicking every second is disallowed - you have to wait for someone else to click ...

Re: Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem

I thought this movie would suck hard, and thus thought myself prepared... but it managed to suck so much harder. The battle scenes were unsatisfying - due to one of the Aliens being a Predalien, it was sometimes hard to keep track of who was where, and the camera made sure never to stay somewhere lo...

Re: "Responsible Behavior" Discussion

Damn... what a comic to read after I got drunk for the first time in my life, yesterday, (if only lightly so - no hangover), with the fellow who hosts some of my websites (he lives in the US and is just visiting Berlin for a few days). Hilarity - in a creepy way.

R/S? Then how about 'catch rate: 5' meaning 'impossible to catch*, say your prayers, wahaha'. I always had that nagging suspicion, but the other day, just for laughs, I saved states on my emulator and reloaded several times to see if it would cede after approximately two or three hundred atte...

Re: "Reset" Discussion

I ruined this particular comic for myself because I misread it at first - 38 days since someone read this sign ...which seemed just that much more hilarious to me, because someone reading it would be a bit stumped at first, then grouchily realise they'd have to set it to zero, which has connotations...
