Digital TV

Sheesh, It's really strange to think that we are one of the last people alive who will ever know what it's like to "Tune" a TV, or for that matter, any other wireless device. Everything is switching to digital, and while this is a good thing in a lot of respects, it also takes away the &qu...

I'm in the same situation right now but with I'm studying to be and EE, and at different schools. I don't know if I should eat the money, take out loans and go to the better school; or save thousands and go the not quite as good in-state school. Another issue I have is if the loans are even an issue...

How are you planning to save the world? :D It basically comes down to living out the Dream that my friend set in motion before he died. His dream was, in it's essence, for people to live like they aught to. If you're interested, or want to know more, check out my blog. here's the first post ...

I’m Richie, a fun loving, free spirited rocker, who has a mission, and a dream, to save the world. I live for music. Every chance I have I am playing an instrument, from the drums, to the guitar, to any other musical implement I can get my hands on. I was a member for a while a few years ago and fad...

Re: How much does your high school cover in the sciences?

I just finished my sophomore year of high school in Florida. I had taken an honors Chem. class (there was no AP) with the teacher known for being hard. In the beginning I had expected it to be a bit slow, like all other science classes I had, it turned out to be the fastest class I had even been in....

Mixed impedance speakers

For all that follows assume we are in magic land and the impedance of the amp matches the impedance of the speakers in any config. To start, the basics, If you have two 4OHM speakers hooker in series, the total impedance is 8 OHMs and the power is distributed 50% to each (assuming they are identical...

Mmm... I think the job would be much easier if you threw in some resistors to help. That would work, but then power is being wasted heating up the resistors... Is that a 3.2 ohm resisitance, or a 3.2 ohm impedence? If it's impedence then the first trick will be measuring the resistance. Sorry, it i...

I am setting up and building an array of 10 3w 3.2ohm speakers.
I need the total resistance to be around 4ohms with equal power to each speaker.

How should I go about wiring this?
