Re: Metric versus US Customary/Imperial for Everyday Use

personally, i just wish they would standardize and just PICK ONE ALREADY!! i hate needing to go back and forth between my car and my tool kit to decide whether or not the bolt is metric or us standard. metric is easy. just a number printed right on the socket. "oh hey, 15 is a little small, let...

No, what he means is that if someone is whacking random teammates with a melee then he must be spychecking, therefore there must be a spy around, which leads players to join the hapless soldier in "spychecking". is it just me, but i wouldn't usually use a soldier for a spy check. what hap...

the best thing to have is one you already got: that tool between your ears. knowledge, experience, and good judgement is better than a warehouse full of survival equipment. one thing i didn't see mentioned is tools. hand tools, maybe a few power ones if you can afford the power. a good carry kit is ...

How hard is it to hand load ammo? My rifle currently cost $1 a shot and that limits how often I go out shooting. I think my next purchase will be a shotgun as well. I want to be a well rounded marksman and figure I will need to be competent with pistol, rifle and shotgun to claim that title. Trying...

at some point, it gains enough speed to fall within the theory of relativity, transporting the ball to a time when the portal was not on the floor. No, this will never happen, because traveling at relativistic speeds is not the same as traveling back in time. aha ok. i knew there had to be a flaw i...

portal question/weirdness/random wondering

so i had this idea a while back while playing portal. lets ignore all the physics behind the portals themselves, and just go with the newtonian ones. lets say you have a bowling ball, and two portals, one on the ceiling, and one on the floor. the floor and the ceiling are exactly level with each oth...
