I was vastly overestimating the size of the sphere, smaller in this xase would most definitley be better... both in energy collection capacity as well as exponentially smaller construction time plus it be perfect reasoning for it not to be readily visible fr...

wow i didnt know the companion star would need to be that close.. i certainly dont plan for it to pass between the main SUN and the planet in question.. I guess I woas thinking they could be like maybe half a lightyear apart or there abouts.. or is that way off the charts for binary systems?
