Re: Tattoos? (Recently merged: "Nerdy Tattoo Idea")

i think 40-50 should be about right. depending on how much detail you want. With it being only 1/4 inch tall there cant be much detail, I know this from the few episodes of Miami Ink that I've seen. LG in Arial is all I really want, something very basic. Ive got a considerable amount of chest hair ...

I know it will vary shop to shop but I was wondering if anyone could give me a rough quote on how much I would be charged for a tattoo.
I want to get the letters, "LG" on my chest, in black, 1/4 inch tall. It cant be more than like $40 right?

Re: Logical fallacies/douchebaggery in commercials.

There is a new Pizza Hut commercial comparing their 5 dollar calzones to some competitor's 5 dollar subs. They use random people on the street and ask them whether they want the calzone or the "sub", they hold up a presumably real calzone in one hand and in the other a toy submarine. They ...

I used to use the excuse that I was in no shape to be taken by the military. No one wants a fat guy huffing and puffing around a warzone. Re: Why separate weights from cardio?

The goal of lifting weights is to build muscle, muscle needs energy in the form of glycogen during and lots of protein after to grow. The goal of cardio is to burn fat by using your muscles in an aerobic fashion. But fat doesn't convert to energy fast enough so the muscles use your available glycoge...

How recently did you get this job? Your body is accustomed to a certain amount of physical work during the day and when you suddenly add more, it takes time to adjust to the new workload. Start with crunches, they will strengthen your abs and are better on your back than sit ups are.
Start with push ups on your knees, not your toes, its easier to do until you get enough strength to go from your feet.
