My dog is domesticated but was not selectively bred. I assume you mean that domestication over time required some selective breeding, but it's not hypocritical to adopt a domestic dog and be against breeding for physical traits with disregard for the dog's health.

Bill Maher's TV shows have always leaned left quite a bit. On top of that he's pro- PETA, gay marriage, drugs, environment, and staunchly anti-religion and anti-corporation.
