Re: Hearthstone

Loatheb 'seems' easy but will wipe your board or kill medium size guys with the 1 damage all or 5 damage spell, which he has way too many of. Cards that spawn multiple tokens are nice, as are elven archers if you don't have the mage ping. He likes to protect the buff minions with taunts. The first f...

Re: Hearthstone

Mage was how I ended up beating loatheb, actually. You'll eat some damage yes, but your hero power makes pinging the buffs much much easier.

Re: You gotta get into Dwarf Fortress if you haven't already

Somehow ended up reading www.bravemule.com and realized I missed this game.

Time to figure out how to get one of the graphics packs working and start a new fort.

Or maybe reading about other people's forts is more interesting than playing myself, I dunno.

Sooo... is it possible to get a kerbin return, from low Mun orbit, with 27 units of fuel and a 909 engine? I must have used up too much fuel in landing, and my save is from the surface because i was so glad to actually land without exploding yet again. I've tried a few times, playing around with man...

What's a good design with, say, the first two tiers of research parts, for getting orbit with plenty of extra fuel, and/or getting to the mun? Yeah against grand widow faerlina you want a deck that dumps the hand fast, zoo or murlock work great. Heroic maexnna was the only one I had to contruct a deck for, it was an interesting challeng, lets hope the heroic versions of the rest of naxx are as fun.

Finally got Maexxna yesterday, same mage deck, but swapped in a big game hunter, who killed the 4 giants that are dropped, that was fun.

Back into ranked, and I find it funny the number of people who concede when a warlock drops a murloc on turn one. Is it really that scary?

Egg is a good fit for watcher based decks, put a taunt on it and watch your opponent desperately try to find a silence. Just a note, if you need oak, cedar or fir, cut them at the guild lumber yard (giant tree), the results are much better. I believe this is new with the latest patch.

oak is 2-5, cedar and fir are 3-6

I imagine the stone quarry is much the same

I wouldn't call it a nerf, except in her safety factor. You can still get long range pickoff kills with spears, but they need to be lower health now, like 20% instead of 60%. I can still spear/trap a squishy, and take 80% of their health off in a pounce/swipe/takedown combo, but then she's in their ...
