Re: KDE4

i'll try again KDE 4 tomorrow on another distro, I'll check if the drag and drop on desktop thing is distro-related. My PC will be formated saturday, I'm going to do some experiments before. Maybe i'll give Kubuntu a chance. The latest Kubuntu release comes with KDE 3.5. I know, because I just inst...

Re: KDE4

You can't ask KDE 4.0 to be as advanced as KDE 3.5 . I'll wait a few months before moving to KDE 4. i tried it on a liveCD, I was quite happy about it.

Personal max: seven months.

Those last three years I shaved in average around 15 times a year.

I made this: http://tetraeder.student.utwente.nl/Pix/floatingpoint1.jpg http://tetraeder.student.utwente.nl/Pix/floatingpoint2.jpg I'm worrying about whether hanging not flat like that is good for your hard drive... I guess that's pretty nerdy. I thought the same thing, coriolis force and all... No...

Re: Back to post yo' face

I'm 22 (almost 23), at my age I should be able to date 18 y/o's and older (using the formula). Most people under 22 or so are put off of someone who they think is 27. No, I don't want to swap. Looking too old is still better than looking too young. IMO. I have the same problem, but how old do I loo...

Re: Awesome Student Quotes

I'll add my own xkcd related quote.

The teacher (an xkcd reader): "You weren't doing well two days ago"
Me: "I missed the Ballmer Peak by a few percent"

I had a first-class hangover. Not the best condition to code in C. Segfaults, infinite loops, out-of-memory crashes...

What martial art are you planning to practice? Why do you want to practice it?

The second question is important if you plan to practice it for at least a whole year.

I'm a bit late, but... it's good!
I don't have up-to-date max, but I'll probably do some during the next year. Right now, I'm 62kg for 1m72, my aim is 68kg, and for the time... I'll see.

Re: Mass Effect

I didn't see any post about Mass Effect PC and its protection... i'll share my story. I bought Mass Effect PC something like two weeks ago. I put the first DVD in the player, installed 12 (not 2, twelve!!) gigs on my hard disk, then two more for the French translations, and fired up the shit. And th...

Me, at the end of my Wookie phase. I got checked by the police three or four times in two months... http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z286/SparvK/Barbe3.jpg I shaved since. Not really often, but more often. And on my driving licence: http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z286/SparvK/Permis.jpg

Re: INTRO THREAD THE THIRD

Merry Christmas! I am not really good at introduction. I'm 22, student in an engineering school. I am French. I am not a long time reader of xkcd, I discovered it six months ago. The funny thing was that my computer science teacher read it too... That make xkcd fun and USEFUL. Yep, xkcd is us...
