Re: Team Fortress 2

Is back, once again.

I'm going to stick up a signups sheet type thing, just to vaguely get some ideas of numbers. If people could put in brackets their preferred highlander class, that would also be cool.

Re: Team Fortress 2

I am dissapoint! I got killed by a Spy at one point and his freezeframe pose was awesome. I swear I took a picture of it but it's not in my screenshots folder. It was wicked fun though. And either I suddenly got better at Demoman or you guys suck against it, because I was owning with that class. I ...

Re: Team Fortress 2

To be fair, most of the Lethal people that were on there behaved themselves; sorry if there was one who was giving grief. The password thing is up in the air, because if it's off it means we can muster full teams on each side, but then obviously it protects from that sort of thing. Preferences?

Well, that seems to be going well. Sorry I had to bow out, grandparents arrived. As I said, I'll be on holiday for a week as of tomorrow, but Lokter can set stuff up if need be. Re: Fleeting/Random/Thoughts (Random like the plague)

Well my sleep schedule is absolutely demolished. It's 6am here and I'm tired but utterly incapable of sleep. Scouring the house I managed to find a completely empty box that used to hold sleeping pills, so I'm kind of at a loss. I think it's time to enact Plan Omega: stay awake until... tonight. Lu...

The problems arise when you have a critical mass of engi's- say 8- on a point. Half use the wrangler, half don't, so sneaky spy stabbing and sapping wont work as you'll get nailed by the four sentries that aren't being wrangled, and you can't get them from long range because the four that are. Re: You gotta get into Dwarf Fortress if you haven't already

Do the other civilizations exist? Check the civilizations tab, if you went to a place with no goblins, there will be no goblins. You might equally just be lucky- I've played for ages and never got a siege in my whole life.

Sounds cool. It will be valve rotation, probably just messing around, getting to know each other. It could easily devolve into a taunt war, for example. I'm fairly well identifiable, but if people with odd names could post them here, that would aid post match gloating which is obviously vital. If we...

The mini sentry is verrah interesting as well. Bloody annoying to deal with, it just appears so damn fast. I've had problem with some engis coming in to melee fight me but dropping it just before we engage and it's such a bugger.

Re: REALLY Annoying Misconceptions

I guess forced conversions are pretty common throughout history, but I imagine that's inefficient, or, administrative headaches for the conquerors. Sometimes the incoming religion is just combined with the local traditions to make it easier to swallow. I think that's what Alexander the Great did wi...

Check second 12 on that video, he clearly lands on the guys knee. No attempt to get the ball, arguably an intentional foul (I realise probably not, but it was still a horrifically poor challenge).

The Wrangler seems to me to be a big ol' "BACKSTAB/HEADSHOT PLOX!" sign. Assuming you can't move while using it. I like the idea of the shotgun, I think. A pissed engi going on a rampage after his 20 kill sentry gets sapped would be pretty cool.

Arguably your ambitions are more likely to come true if you are born into a position of privilege, so the things you wish for upon a star are in fact more likely to come true if yo rich.
