Re: Feminism (split from 'nfessions)

Spoilered for off-topic: Going out and causing pain to people will certainly not help a cause. I think the IRA and the PLO would disagree with you. Terrorism exists for a reason: it works. Prior to the late 1960's there was plenty of sympathy for the Northern Irish "cause" but no polit...

I've just realised: I don't know as much about the internet as I thought I did. For example, I never heard of lolcats until Randall mentioned it just recently... Yeah, I saw the score card. I was just explaining why there isn't uproar over the slogans.

Leave me out of the argument, my upbringing thought me better than to pick fights with wimmin' about wimmin' things.

Likewise I think it's a bit silly to /flee from this thread. It's a discussion with scattered points of disagreement, not a war zone. Nobody's getting their head bitten off or being banned for life. As for murder, I think a soldier shooting an innocent family qualifies. Bolded for emphasis. What deems the family innocent in your eyes? To me, the actions were stupid, the plan was stupid, and the assertion that the instigators and executors of it are obviously not stupid is a little empty. For the record, I agree with this.
