Re: 1190: "Time"

I went back and re-watched them build the structure at the top of the platform. It appears to me that it may not necessarily be attached to the platform, but merely resting on top of it. Do you think it's possible that it's a boat that can simply float away from the platform if the sea level rises ...

Re: 1190: "Time"

Well, technically, the author Чехов , being Russian, could only have his name spelled correctly using Cyrillic characters; anything using Latin letters is an approximation. I don't know all of them, but I heard once that there are 13 different accepted ways of transliterating Чайковский into the in...

Bit of out-of-Time gossip: I ordered some photochromatic jazz sunglasses today. They become more translucent the more light there is. It's like a hipness amplifier. Re: 1190: "Time"

So: a thought about the "hourglass" theory. What if the "river" refers to the stream coming from the top chamber, and the "sea" is, in fact the level of sand in the bottom? This of course ignores the concept that an hourglass tends to create a rising cone-shaped pile of...

Re: 1190: "Time"

So the thing up at the top that many of us assume to be a platform...it appears to be slightly lower in our viewframe from the right side. Perhaps the characters in this comic would be on their computers during all this time, except that there are technical problems. Building a sandcastle is what they do while they "wait for I.T." to show up and fix things.

Hello, folks--this has been terribly fun to follow. I just had a thought: in the earliest frames, Megan was shaking sand out of her hair. I wonder if the new material in the loop concludes with them being in the castle when it is eventually overcome by water, depositing them on the beach, slightly s...
