Re: [SAFESPACE] LGBTIQQ Thread - Queer Support!

Could someone explain gender binary etc to me? I want to know about it, figured this would be the place to ask without anyone jumping on me. Also I'm really confused as to the difference between transsexual and transgender - I was reading up on the term cisgender the other day and also came across c...

Re: [SAFESPACE] Woman Thread - All Things Women. Period.

Woman thread, perhaps you can help me with a problem:

I'm currently employed hauling a load of stuff around and restacking shelves in a supermarket warehouse, and I would like to know: why are there always more sanitary towels?

Re: Fleeting/Random/Thoughts (Random like the plague)

I currently have a job clearing out/sorting out a warehouse. In the process of doing this job, I have discovered what hell is.

Hell is an eternity spent stacking and restacking endless shelves of toilet roll, sanitary towels and incontinence nappies.

I have a tiny little nub of something (maybe bone?) just under the surface of my right shin. I can wiggle it back and forward in a limited range of motion. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be there. I am cool with this.

Interesting fact: in the UK, the majority of medical students are female. I don't know whether this is the same in the USA. I'm guessing that medicine quickly became an 'acceptable' choice for women because of the fact that it incorporates compassion with hard science, with the former being somethin...

Yeah, we normalise all our results. It's actually a really good system, because it means if the papers are particularly hard one year then you're not going to get screwed over if you've got less correct answers than someone on the previous year's easier paper. I like the system, personally.

Currently reading a book called The Rise and Fall of Modern Medicine by James le Fanu.
