Re: Fleeting/Random/Thoughts (Random like a pox)

House of Leaves is a very good book. I didn't really feel scared or anything while I was reading it, but a few weeks after I finished I noticed that dark places made me uncomfortable. So that's something, I guess. i never felt scared but didn't the pekingese thing and the letters from the mothe...

Parkaboy, did you just use TMBG lyrics conversationally? That's awesome. RT: Today's QC is reeaally gory. Also, I started House of Leaves! (hope that's the right color) great book, some of it seems to be for shock value and contributes little but still great completely changed my opinion of entropy...

my spaceship problem

I once had a better half of whom I decided I would live vicariously through her physics knowledge (my comprehension of this subject is limited though I do try), I asked her once why exploration (as popular media will have it) of space seems to me to suggest exploration of a 2-dimensional universe, t...

How exactly does this help the cause? "Oh, we really are criminals, and we're willing to attack your infrastructure until you bow to our will, so get to passing laws that make us not criminals anymore."? TPB isn't behind it - their fans in capes are. I dunno, it's kinda drawing that delic...

God is... or ____ is

Not a debate, but rather a sort of census, I was hoping to discern a few novel concepts of what it means to be "god." As simple or complex, novel or orthodox as you like, with as little or as much detail as you wish. Even as simple as an abstract concept such as "god is change" o...

same, it is actually suprisingly easy to underwater a plant that requires you to recall performing a repetive act once a month. I found greater success with a yucca and an umbrella plant, they need watering about once a week.

couldnt say with the data base, but the average individual has next to no practical knowledge on how the vast majority of modern affairs operates, even less would translate between generations... progress lies not in individuals but in infrastructure. I'm guessing epochs.
