Re: "Qwertial Aphasia" Discussion

This happens to me in reverse. If I'm reading or writing/typing [or even thinking] something, whatever it is keeps invading my speech. "No, you can't divide by synæsthesia." ... "What?" ;)

More Details the Second Time Around

Yes, I know the thread title is redundant. ;) I'm making this a separate thread because it's not specific enough for the "help-me-remember-the-movie" thread, because otherwise it might derail it. There's a movie, 15 or more years old, I think, that my parents remember watching several time...

Wow, I so understand this. Also, the title of this thread reminds me of a phenomenon highly represented by a classmate of mine. He's smart, very much so - he just intentionally doesn't show it. He's like the 'class clown' type. If you didn't know him well enough, you could even get fooled into think...

Bromance is awesome. Also, the military, with its gender imbalance and its "don't ask, don't tell" policy, probably involves a lot of homosexuality - for comfort in hard times?

Lord of the Flies, maybe, or Ender's Game. Star Ascendant, the Dark is Rising [the book, not the movie! they completely ruined it; it's amazing] Star Trek TNG, although not a book, especially influenced me.
