Re: 1697: "Intervocalic Fortition"

"meh", like "bah" and "pah" and "eh" and "uh", is an interjection, not a word. That's why the normal rule doesn't apply to it.

Re: 1663: ???

That wouldn't prevent it from being an irrelevant village in London, though...? I really had no idea that the town of Greenwich is one of the boroughs of London. It doesn't really make any sense to refer to Greenwich as either a town or a village at this point, is all. You wouldn't refer to Queens ...

Re: 1576: "I Could Care Less"

Re: 1412: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"

And how many syllables is meow? (or miaow) You would enjoy Joyce's Ulysses: -- Mkgnao! -- O, there you are, Mr Bloom said, turning from the fire. The cat mewed in answer and stalked again stiffly round a leg of the table, mewing. Just how she stalks over my writing-table. Prr. Scratch my head. Prr....

Re: 1412: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"

I can only get them to work if I only sing the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" line. The "Church of Jesus Christ Creator" is where it should be "Heroes in a half shell, turtle power", but it doesn't fit. You misunderstood: each individual phrase is to be sung to the tun...
