Re: Shakespeare Mafia - Act III, Scene I

DJ, is there anyone you don't think is town? Yeah, this. I don't remember the last time Dj considered the possibility of someone being scum and it's odd to me. Hm. I realized that if we lynch kalira and let the amanita modkill go through that we lose if they are both Town. That said, I think the li...

Re: Shakespeare Mafia - Act III, Scene I

Is there any advantage to lynching amanita over letting him be modkilled?

Re: Shakespeare Mafia - Act III, Scene I

Yeah, I meant abilities. I figured Zyth shot freezeblade. That made a lot more sense to me than mafia shooting freezeblade because he was being considered as a lynch yesterday. I still think freezeblade shot Madge, because why mafia shoots a quieter player over one of the generally agreed townreads ...

Re: Shakespeare Mafia - Act III, Scene I

So, how about massclaiming? With 8 players I am guessing it is currently 6 townies vs 2 mafia. This would make tomorrow MYLO should we get it wrong today. I'd rather have all the information out on the table now as opposed to when the game is on the line in that hypothetical. There's also been a lot...

Re: Shakespeare Mafia - Act III, Scene I

Alright, so to be clear. Zyth shot freezeblade. I am going to assume freezeblade shot Madge to look like a vig because I doubt mafia kills a quiet player. The mafia kill...did not go through? I'm wondering what happened with the mafia kill. If there is a roleblocker and he targeted someone, he shoul...

Re: Shakespeare Mafia - Act II, Scene I

I reread. Thoughts on the SK Lunch Meat's thoughts on why we may have a vig over and SK. Sure, people find others scummy all the time. Dividing which reasons are acceptable for grounds of suspicion from the ones that aren't is a basis for reads, e.g., asking ourselves if a player truly believes what...

Re: Shakespeare Mafia - Act II, Scene I

So how are quiet slots treated around here? I'm seriously considering lynching Madge. I thought she may have been scum earlier in the game but I kept quiet about it because I gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought she may have just had trouble getting into it due to the poetry overload. But w...

Re: Shakespeare Mafia - Act II, Scene I

Hm. Scratch the above for now. My logic was that due to a probable SK that SDK's bulletproof status is consistent with such a role. I thought more about it and went back to it being null, because if I had both the mafia killing and an SK, that I would likely throw in a bulletproof townie as well. S...

Re: Shakespeare Mafia - Act II, Scene I

Also, there must be an SK. That's the only reason USN could have died over some of the other players we have running around.

More points towards SDK being scum! Excellent.

...Did freezeblade just vote for Lunch Meat? Yikes, I'm not feeling that vote whatsoever.

Also, is it common practice to wait until the night is over to reveal the flip? Just curious.

Re: Shakespeare Mafia - Act I, Scene I

Oh, as for my townread on Zyth. Early he started off the game calling freezeblade his friend; it was pretty obvious that something role-related caused this comment. So there's 2 options there; he is either scum buddying freezeblade for whatever reason or he's town saying it off an assumption made be...

Re: Shakespeare Mafia - Act I, Scene I

Zyth now, made themselves an easy target. They've barely contributed, posted votes without explanation, told us to count the scummy moves as null. I'm getting heavy pings from them, so I voted accordingly. 1. untrue 2. playstyle differences 3. untrue There, I addressed your concerns with me. Friend...

Re: Shakespeare Mafia - Act I, Scene I

I've given my reasons for Zyth being Town; that's only strengthened with his reasoning for the early-game buddying with freezeblade. I do not think he is sinister enough to try and buddy an innocent off a posting restriction. I'm completely fine with you voting me, Gopher. You're still on my scumlis...

Re: Shakespeare Mafia - Act I, Scene I

That information is somewhat useful. The only person I've noticed using blank verse is Freezeblade, correct me if I'm wrong. I can see how they'd be more likely to be town but we can't use this to blankly ignore scummy behavior as I can also imagine "godfathers" for that sort of heuristic...

Right now, I have a small town pool of amanita, bessie, Dimochka, and Zyth. I really liked amanita's thought processes here: http://forums.xkcd.com/viewtopic.php?p=3676783#p3676783 .
