Re: Rant Thread - The Spates of Wrath

Be nice to your customer service people. Or at least, don't be an ass. Yes yes yes. I work in retail, and argh. People are terrible. My new business model is to kill all customers. Think it will be successful? I go to work tonight/tomorrow morning at 3:15am, and I'm afraid of what mood the customer...

Re: Confessional Bed - Not just for pillow talk!

Good point. I say go for it. The worst that could happen is she won't accept the request, which would be silly and lame, but wouldn't be too terrible considering how you feel/felt about her.

Mm...but do remember Halloween was still just a few weeks ago. I've seen a few pictures on Facebook of women dressed as men and vice-versa simply as costume... :/

Re: [SAFESPACE] Woman Thread - #sharkweek on irc.foonetic.net

Heh, besides the usual dear, darling, babe, or baby, my boyfriend calls me "mean old woman," or just "mean" for short. I actually treat him really well and am younger than him, so it's all in good fun. It's funny to see people's reactions when they hear him say it for the first t...

Re: Rant Thread - The Spates of Wrath

In the retail world, it's already been Christmas for a month. That's when they started decorating my store, and when we started getting holiday gifts in. The music hasn't started yet, but it's coming.

Re: [SAFESPACE] Woman Thread - #sharkweek on irc.foonetic.net

I thought the vagina pillow with a secret pocket for a vibrator was funny. If someone is down with having a vagina pillow on display, will they really want/need to hide their vibrator?

Re: What do you want out of life?

I work at JCPenney, and just a few days ago, I helped an old man purchase sheets. Older folks often like to talk to us about their lives, and it can be kind of annoying sometimes. But this guy was so wonderful. He talked to me for a half hour, going back and forth between asking sheet-related questi...

Re: [SAFESPACE] Woman Thread - #sharkweek on irc.foonetic.net

Okay, I really need to ask this, I've meant to for a while. Does anyone know if it's possible to develop a tolerance or something to the Pill? I've wondered that myself, though not for the same reasons. I started on the Pill for my acne (during that visit/the next few visits I was diagnosed with PC...

* Age: 19 * Do you have trouble waking up in the morning?: Somewhat. Definitely not a morning person, but I always manage to get up on time. * Do you find yourself using the snooze button more than once? I purposely set my alarm so that I can get up when it goes off the second (maybe third) time. * ...

I don't know how to swim either (even though I took lessons as a child). I'm too embarrassed to tell people...I went boating with my boyfriend and some of his family friends, and was relieved that the weather wasn't quite nice enough to jump out and swim, so I wouldn't have to tell them. Sigh.

Re: [SAFESPACE] Woman Thread - #sharkweek on irc.foonetic.net

Thanks for the kind advice everyone :) My advice is to seriously consider your personal plans for what would happen if you did get pregnant despite the pills. Even perfect use carries some risk of pregnancy. My sister always uses two methods (pills + condom, IUD + condom, ect) and I use methods with...

Haha, well I don't plan to experiment. Unless I go on a trip and somehow forget to take my pills with me, it's unlikely I'll forget for 24 hours. It's just that I usually take it when I get up in the morning, which can vary by a few hours depending on what's going on that day.

Re: [SAFESPACE] Woman Thread - #sharkweek on irc.foonetic.net

This has probably been brought up before, so sorry if I'm annoying anyone... My boyfriend and I recently did the deed without a condom for the first time, which I'm pretty sure will be the norm from now on. I've been on the pill for three years, and I've never had trouble remembering to take it, but...

I ordered a Zune from Amazon on September 15 because it was the cheapest price I found. I chose Free Super Saver shipping because...well, why not? It's free! And I've used it before. It's now almost a month later, and it hasn't even shipped yet. Tomorrow is the last day within their estimated ship d...

Re: [SAFESPACE] Woman Thread - #sharkweek on irc.foonetic.net

Yep, I'm fairly certain it's meant in the way Crowey read it. Obviously I haven't read the book yet, but judging by what I know of the author, it would be that. There's absolutely nothing wrong with choosing to abstain. That's exactly the thing--society shouldn't shame us for whatever sexual choices...

Re: INTRO THREAD THE THIRD

I'm Ashley, 19, from Eugene, Oregon. I've never really known what to say when asked about myself... I just started my second year at the University of Oregon, although by credits I'll be a junior after this term, which is sort of frightening, considering I'm still completely undecided as far as a ma...
