Also, why can playing cards be plastic coated, waterproof, and capable of withstanding a large amount of wear and tear, but the box doesn't last longer than a day?

If I recall correctly, the Greeks didn't really care if you believed in their gods and whatnot as long as you attended their festivals and rituals and whatnot. ...It's a terrible contraction of "fruit spike and moon", a reference to a game I was obessed with for a good year of my life. I'm not entirely sure where the 64 came from, but I've always liked powers of 2, especially 1.
