I wear flannel pajamas under my jeans. It is the most comfortable solution I have ever tried and it works great for keeping the wind out.

I know that my logic doesn't hold true outside the problem, but it does inside the problem (doesn't it?), which is what I was trying to say.

### Re: Prove that two curves in a square intersect

The x and y axis intersecting have nothing to do with this problem and the only arguments you've given are clearly not enough. The obvious counterexample is to take two curves from the top left to the bottom right that don't intersect except at the corners. How is that a counterexample? If intersec...

### Re: Prove that two curves in a square intersect

Are they continuous curves? If so, then for every x, the horizontal curve has a value, and for every y, the vertical one does. Can we say from there that since x and y intersect, so do the curves? What do you mean by "x and y intersect"? That you can set them equal to each other? That jus...

### Re: Do You Like Songs for the Lyrics or the Music?

Mostly the music, but if the lyrics are horrible, I don't like it because it distracts from the musicality. As a result, some of my favorite songs are instrumentals, but the songs I like the very most have excellent, lyrics along with that which often require some thinking about to get the most out ...

Logically, a person could argue that while it was not stated that only one child was a girl, it makes sense, assuming that the person you are speaking with is cooperating with you, tht they are not both girls. Most likely, if they were, the statement would have said so.
