Re: Some Mixes (Updated May 21st '08)

Excuse me for the double post but I just came out with 2 new mixes. As on my Facebook/Myspace: I did 2 live sessions today and recorded both of them. One is trance and the other is electro/house/breaks. I'd say both came out fairly well. :D. Both of them are recorded in 256 Kbps. I think I'm making ...

This list is for the win! : D. Trance lovers unite!

Btw everyone needs to listen to the Original Club Mix of Destination Sunshine. THAT is a chune.

The 06 stuff!? Yes it had a few good titles but it has nothing on 05, 03, part of 04 and 07. 06 was like a little disappointing. Still good though. :D

Re: FREEZEPOP, I MEAN GOD DAMN:

I'm afraid that I was quite unforgiving in my desire to cast them asunder after I heard their 'Sprite' song. I was entirely underwhelmed and decided to stop my exploration of Freezepop after just one track, which I now consider a blunder on my part. If anyone could recommend perhaps 2 or 3 of their...

Dj Tiesto, VNV Nation and BT are some good ones. Dj Tiesto sucks big time. If you want some good techno IMO you need: Dj Splash (i used bit lord and dled all 125 or so songs... well worth it) Sex Appeal - Skin 2 Skin I'm A Raver - forgot who did this song but i have the Dj Rankin remix. I'm wondering if you guys can help me look for some good electronic music. This looks like the thread to start searching if anywhere. Her birthday was Monday, and I meant to post this at midnight that morning, but I got caught up in a bunch of other stuff. Since no one else posted anything yet, I took the initiative. Since I can't really give her anything in person, I decided this wouldn't be a bad idea. ^^;

The ".. My [Name] Is..." was an experimental mix that progressively was supposed to get angrier and harder. It opened with an epic acoustic song and starts heading off into an emotional trance. From there it just gets harder. Then screams it's way into the *full* version of Come to Daddy. ...

Re: Post YOUR music here (Merged : The Rainbow Correction)

There seems to be a shift in style. The first half is very electro and a good deal acidic, even to the point of being abrasive. Then after 0:32 the general texture becomes more sustained and relaxed. Is this intended? It's not bad, it just struck me as odd. It's actually a part of the song itself. ...

Yes. Saying best song of all time says 2 things. You haven't heard enough music. Plus you're almost defeating the art of music.

Music was meant to be enjoyed and and to relate to, it has no way of being better than everything else.
