Well I'm still fond of you mate. It was a fine idea but I just found it more interesting to think about how it wouldn't work rather than how it would, since the latter is a nonstarter. Source code and infinite time with an eye on performance, it surely could run on modern machines. It's complex in t...

Re: Gaming fleeting thoughts

The settlements are pretty shit, everyone can see it. So I wouldn't underestimate the modding community's imagination and zeal to add complexity to it. Saying that you would or could do these things kind of insults the modding community, and it's a very easy sort of mistake to make. What is possible...

I won't do this, but I wish I would. I know a bit about how gamebryo works, or enough to know that what you're describing is such a super mega mod that it might well dwarf the scope of the game its modding. Felstaff's comment is very relevant however I figured I would go into the details of how thi...

Another year soon to pass, another chance to talk about the releases and events in the vidya games world. 2014 2015 Uh... A dead year for me, not sure if that's my fault. I think posting the story on this tiny corner of the internet caused more of a reputation swing than my character in game. However, being remembered for anything in Eve is more than I could ask for. Why would a spy want money? I don't really feel like they owe me so much as I had leverage on them and they slighted me, so I pulled it. I wasn't asking about secrets. I was asking where they were currently located, and because I wasn't getting an answer I started looking around in the corp window for what it might be. There's an icon next to the character portrait that shows the fatigue debuff when it happens. If there's no icon then you're fine. There's no bar graph telling you how close you are. I also think they patched out the problem that Diadem was having wherein you become fatigued from the prologue events...

Steam Workshop functions very similarly to Nexus Mods, in that it's a distribution platform for mods uploaded by users. the original On a rail was a mixed bag for me. The idea of an epic train ride across the facility is a a solid premise, and mechanically it works very well. So, Tropico 4, it's a very mechanical city builder when compared to anything other than the Impression Games series. It's easy to get the wrong impression because it doesn't look like that sort of game. The series is much deeper than Sim City. When you start an island, you have a small handful of pe...
