Spoiler:
So I guess you get to pick the color of a beam that destroys most of civilization. How morose. I'd almost rather the reaper cycle. Get to the citadel, learn the truth, and then say "damn it" and shoot myself.

Re: Mass Effect 3

I am playing vanguard in the sp and any use of nova that doesn't kill off the final enemy loses me 2+ health bars. I probably just haven't gotten the hang of the vanguard yet but charging when there are more than two enemies around regularly proves to be suicide. I found that as well, but then I go...

I'm getting eerily good at mass queens. Apparently I can beat diamond level protoss and plat terran consistently. I'm kind of tempted to tank my ladder account so that I can do it seriously in ladder and see how far I can get. I'm just not sure what to do about zvz.

They're still not doing that very effectively either. They could easily reduce the cycle length to 5000 years if they want full on civilizations, probably even less since they're so much smarter than I am and I could certainly find a way to reduce the cycle to at least 5000 years. Maybe they unders...

Any chance of you uploading the game? It sounds awesome :) It was in a peepmode so I'm not sure that anyone wants to go through a 2 hour replay to find a 12 minute game, or that I want to try to find which one it was. I figure I should also speak to peepmode a little. It's a continuous 1v1 (potenti...

I played a pretty amusing PvT. My planned build was a mothership rush, my opponent's planned build was to 3rax marine+scv all in. Not quite the best formula for success. I got gas before my first gateway, which means my gateway was just finishing as he was moving down his ramp with about 8 marines a...

Money is hardcoded to not accept decimals, but I don't see how impressing our current value system into Skyrim would make it any more economic. For all we know, Sheogorath could have created a worldwide shortage of brooms.

I think you're looking for a different game. That's how they were in BW. Ultras could take a lot of damage, but cracklings had much higher dps. In SC2 ultras die fairly quickly and are more expensive, but they can do a lot of damage in the right position. Cracklings aren't what they used to be either. I find that preserving ultras for as long ...

Corruptors are the straight-up response. It's not something a zerg wants to do if they're already behind, but it's decent otherwise to regain some map control and to stay in the game. Though corruptors are even more useless after the phoenixes are gone than the phoenixes are after the mutas are gon...

That's definitely not true. The economic damage that 20 phoenixes can do can't be ignored. Zerg has to respond to them in some way.

It has interesting imagery and an okay combat system, but it's also very padded. Same fights, same puzzles, and new content drips in every few hours. I'd recommend it if half the game didn't feel like padding, but as it is I'm very indifferent about it.

It's actually pretty close to impossible to engage stealth AFTER combat has started. The top sneak perk is supposed to achieve this, but it doesn't work too well. Basically, once an attacker has seen you once, they don't seem to care if you go invisible behind a rock and move completely silently, t...
