Boost.Test + CMake - Code Coverage Stats?

Postby bytbox » Fri Oct 15, 2010 5:44 pm UTC

Hey all,

I'm using Boost.Test for unit testing (building with CMake but disregarding CTest, which I dislike) - does anybody know a (relatively easy way) to get code coverage statistics? Quick searching around didn't yield anything, although I can't pretend to have done an extensive quest through Boost docs (which I find rather unfriendly).

Boost.test does not support code coverage.

That does seem to be the case. Does this mean falling back to forcing lcov into working nicely with cmake?

With a little bit of Google one can find many code coverage tools for C++, it is probably worth looking into. With no idea of your current limitations/flexibility, this is the best advice I can give.
