88. Ancient Egyptians did not actually remove the brain from the nasal cavity via a hook. Rather, they probably used the long tool to liquefy the brain before pouring it out through the nasal cavity.

UGH!

89 - The Easter Egg of video games that took the longest to find was Landon M. Dyer (the guy that converted it for the Atari 400)'s LMD screen in Donkey Kong, which required the player to set a high score with 37, 73, or 77 as the 5th and 4th digits, losing all their lives, the last one by falling, resetting the machine at level 4 difficulty, and waiting. It was found 26 years after the game came out.

97. Virne Beatrice "Jackie" Mitchell has been the only woman in history to strikeout baseball legends like Babe Ruth and Lou "Iron Horse" Gehrig. Back then she scared men like Kennesaw Landis so much that, 21 years later, Major League Baseball banned signing of women to contracts from 1952 to 1993.

99. In 1996 Major League Baseball added Rule 10.22(a), where hitless at-bats were added to a player's record to qualify for the Batting Title. This is known as the Tony Gwynn Rule, because it was added just so Tony could win the title. Because he was so good even counting his hitless at-bats he only dropped from .353 batting average to .349, still being over second place Ellis Burks's .344 (Tony Gwynn was 4 plate appearances short from qualifying for the title under the old rules).
