### Count up with the Five Fives puzzle

This one will be a bit different from the Four Fours puzzle. Here, we will try to get as high as possible with exactly five fives.

On the first page (from the numbers 0 to 40), you may ONLY use the following:
• Addition (10 = 5 + 5)
• Subtraction (50 = 55 - 5)
• Multiplication (25 = 5 * 5)
• Division (1 = 5 / 5)
• Exponentiation (3125 = 55)
• Concatenation of 5's (60 = 55 + 5)
• Decimal separator (10 = 5 / .5)

For each new page (or 40 posts), you may introduce a new function or operator (!, !!, nCk, Fibonacci numbers... You can check the previous thread for more functions)

New functions allowed:
• Factorial (5! = 120)
• Root symbol (√(5 * 5) = 5, .5√(5 + 5) = 100)
• Double Factorial (5!! = 15)

Some restrictions:
• No floor or ceiling
• No function that could make the game too easy (Nth prime, f(x) = x + 1...)

Any other ideas are welcome!

0 = (5 - 5) * (5 + 5 / .5)

1 = 55/5-5-5

I wonder which of these could go the furthest:

Three Threes
Four Fours
Five Fives
Six Sixes
Seven Sevens
Eight Eights
Nine Nines

### Re: Count up with the Five Fives puzzle

We have the first ninja already I'll post 2 values then

9 = (5 * (5 + 5) - 5) / 5
10 = (5 - .5) / .5 + .5 + .5

PS: nice 8 emlightened

### Re: Count up with the Five Fives puzzle

9 = (55-5-5)/5

10 = ((5-5)*5+5)/.5

And then I got ninja'd again -_-.

11 = 55/5+5-5

Not sure if I did this right but...

37 = ( Γ(5) + Γ(5) ) - 55/5

Edited to add: I think this broke the rules of the first post for page 1 of the thread. I can try again...

### Re: Count up with the Five Fives puzzle

Indeed, please only use the basic functions described in the op. It is possible to build all numbers up to at least 66, I tested it

38 = (5 + 5 - .5) / .5 / .5

Hint 1:
Spoiler:
Notice 32 = 25 = (1/2)-5

Hint 2 (other method):
Spoiler:
Notice 37.5 = 5 * 7.5
