Count To Zero

Postby Cheese » Wed Sep 12, 2007 9:57 pm UTC

Okay, rules have changed from the original ones. Basically, post a number smaller than the last one, counting down to zero. If and when zero is reached, a new starting number is given. And, like the 'bigger numbers' game(s), no referring to previous posts, unless it's funny.

To fit with the next post:

14

Right, hopefully the final rules clarification needed: First person to reach zero loses each game, and the new starter must begin with a number more than or equal to the starting number from the last game, without going OTT. If you think of any other ways to bend the 'old' rules, do them then post a request for a change, to keep the game fun.

Yeah, so a few numbers got skipped before the 6. But that's good. Since otherwise we would have just been doing a "count to infinity a thousand times" or some shit.

(Because Infinity - something finite = Infinity, so Cheese started with one "number" three times, rather than the first three numbers of some decreasing sequence.)
Unless stated otherwise, I do not care whether a statement, by itself, constitutes a persuasive political argument. I care whether it's true.

What are we doing with our lives?

Short answer: wasting them

Long answer: really really really really really really really wasting them

I like what's happened to the thread, this counting down game's much better than what I started it as. Should I go edit the OP?

Anyway, 2pi + 1

Yes, but you'll notice it wasn't what you wrote, but rather 0.9999998999999999..., which is actually 0.9999999.
