The Most Epic Story Ever

Postby DeLink » Sun Jan 18, 2009 4:27 pm UTC

The idea of this game came when I looked at other games revolving around books. For each step of the game, find the nearest book turn to page X and type line Y. This will go on for about 10-20 post. Then anyone will make a "chapter" in the "Most Epic Story Ever" by turning all the posts into a (a least) half sensible story. Every time I finish a chapter, page X and Y will be different. After chooseing one book, you may get the next closest book once someone else posts and keep chooseing books from there. Please bold in the sentance.
First: Turn to page 18, type line 3
I will start off:
He stretched out his arm and dove to the right.
EDIT:Now anyone can write the story. If there have been 10+ posts since the last chapter, you can write the next chapter and dicide the next page X,line Y.Make sure the story stays revolving around Andrew.Make sure to use continuity, as chapter 2 is going to begin inside the airport. I will then put your chapter in the first post and credit you. Good luck!
Chapters so far:

Here is the First Chapter :D And please, full sentences please
Ch.1 The Begging

Andrew waited for his friends at the airport. He notcied a lady who walked up to him, then turned away because this was a time were ladys were not amorous. He had told his friends to comne to the name of the city where he was now as it was on the arrivals-and-departures board at Kennedy International Airport .Though he would justify his friends caree's he was too lazy. Then he got a call from his friend "Yo,David McClean is coming back in half an hour to help us move out and get to the airport."Meanwhile at the airport a selfproclaimed man continueously yelled that he was the great Shadow. "I am the Shadow" he yelled, and simultainously flashed his driver's lincense that he was indeed Reely A. Shadow." I come from the lands where where the drifts were more than twice the height of a Wintersmith! In that land of knowledge, I know everything!" he proclaimed. I asked him involuntarily "Then in Flash CS3, what is the most important thing for programmers?" The Shadow smirked and said "ActionScript 3.0 of course!" This guy was good. But then the misbelieveing girl, she was so beautiful and naive. Andrew bet that Shadow didn't give a damn about her.
Will Andrew finally leave? Well his friends arrive in time? Will the Shadow be more of a smart-ass? Find out in Ch.2!

I have two books which are equidistant from me: Galapagos, by Kurt Vonnegut, and The illustrated man, by Ray Bradbury. Can I post two sentences?

He had picked the name of the city where he was now from an arrivals-and-departures board at Kennedy International Airport in New York City.
From Galapagos

That's not a complete sentence, that's why it doesn't look good
I asked involuntarily.

To the Adobe Creative Suite Family. For programmers the most important thing is ActionScript 3.0

The peasant practice was generally frowned upon, but the Superior Maunt passed by the novices, pretending not to notice, as she didn't feel up to delivering a chastisement.

That actually started on line three, but I had to backtrack that far to get the complete sentence that ended on line six.

[Sociological research shows that children from higher social classes are three to six times overrepresented in universitary education, while on the other side of] the spectrum this participation of worker children only one on three [to one in four is.]
