My uncle Cliff. He died before my older brother was born. He also sounds like an awesome guy from what I have been told.

What do you wish that you had.

Any of the so-called forced memes that reddit or tumblr come up with. An example would be the Nigel Thornberry "Blarg" that was forced out of tumblr a few weeks ago.

I collect pre-1958 US one-cent coins, pre-2002 computers, and penguin-related merchandise. I am thinking starting an element collection.

Do you name your computers? If so, what do you name them after (or is there no theme at all)?

Amarok (occasionally Foobar 2k) in Windows/Ubuntu; browsing folders and preview for the Mac (the last update hosed iTunes) and Amarok will build but won't run.

This fall I'm taking a class taught by Dr. Kaup, who is the K in the AKNS method of solving nonlinear wave equations. I haven't really "met" him though, unless if you count passing by him repeatedly in the mathematics building for the past four years.

Which would you prefer? A world without your favorite writer, or a world without your favorite musical group.

Would you have organized a flash mob against some one who had said xkcd was not their favorite webcomic?

No. xkcd isn't even my favorite webcomic. That distinction belongs to either Questionable Content or SMBC. However the forum here is A LOT better here. Although I wouldn't agree that Questionable Content is realistic (at least not all the time).
