### Count up to absurdly high numbers in everchanging incriments

I will begin the game by posting a number. The next poster must post a number that is greater than that number. It can be any distance from that number, and doesn't have to be an integer, or even rational. Of course, as the game continues, people will start to require special notations to express their numbers, perhaps even eventually requiring up-arrow notation.

Rules and guidelines:

1. If your number takes up a very large amount of space, either use a special notation or spoiler tags. I don't people to have to scroll through pages of zeros.

2. Don't represent numbers just by their names (or symbols for constants like e). You may state their names when you post them, but you should also represent them mathematically. For instance, rather than simply saying 1 googol, say 10^100. For irrationals, you should type them out to at least 5 digits, or write the mathematical operation through which they were derived.

3. Don't just jump from 3 to 10^1000^1000 because you can. Try to maintain at least somewhat of a cohesive pace (with perhaps the occasional upward jolt)

4. No complex numbers.

5. And please, try to avoid getting near grahams number for as long as possible. When it gets to THOSE heights, I think it's probably time to start a new round.

Alright. Lets begin.

sqrt(0.5), approx. 0.707106781

I'll quantify that ambiguous statement to [imath]\Large e^\pi-e[/imath], or 19.99909997918947576726644298466... and increment it to [imath]\Large e^\pi[/imath]. To put it in a form conforming to the OP's rules,
[imath]\huge\left(\displaystyle\sum_{k=0}^\infty\frac{1}{k!}\right)^{\left(\displaystyle\sum_{k=0}^\infty\frac{\sqrt{12}}{(2k+1)(-3)^k}\right)}[/imath].

Well, since someone has already put LaTeX in here...

$\int_{0}^{10} 2x^{4} e^{x} dx$
Which is about 3.07 * 108

A certain article indicates that that number (or rather, that number for the "tallest runner") is about 3*1032.

I increment to the number of possible games of chess, about 1046.7.

Graham's number + 1 + fωω(2)

(Weiner's fast-growing-hierarchy.)

A dozen times over

But seriously, it seems that the intention of the OP was to make things more casual and "less crazy" here. Making really huge numbers isn't at all the point of this game. The OP explicitly said that once we reach Graham's number, it would probably be a good idea to start a new round.

That it took less than one page to get there, is a whole different story. Come on guys, can't you restrain yourself a teeny weeny bit?

Guess we might as well start round 2.

Eh, may as well wait for a new page...
