Urgent!! graph software.

Postby anterovipunen » Tue Apr 22, 2008 10:05 am UTC

I've finished my dissitation but the graphs look schoolboy and unproffessional when made in Excel (maybe thats down to me). Does anyone know of any good graph software?

You can make *very* professional looking graphs in Excel, you just have to know what to turn off and what to twerk. I saw a video about that once, but you'll have to search for it now.

yes you can easily run into things that excel can't do very well though e.g plot more than 32k points in a series

However, the OP implied that he *did* make them successfully in Excel, they just don't look very good. My response was that Excel can look very good if you know how to twerk it a bit. We haven't run into Excel's limitations yet afaik.

Locked, because there's already a thread about math software.
Unless stated otherwise, I do not care whether a statement, by itself, constitutes a persuasive political argument. I care whether it's true.
