Using an XKCD Comic on a Club T-Shirt

Postby majestic8 » Sun Feb 17, 2013 11:34 am UTC

I would like to print one of the XKCD comics on our club T-Shirt ... printed and paid for by the members themselves, and a few extra ones to be given out to the winners of a couple of contests that we'll be organizing next month.
I've already checked the XKCD about page. While accreditation is not a problem, I'm unsure about the legality of it all. Can anyone advise?

XKCD About page wrote: If you're not outright merchandizing, you're probably fine.

since you're not planning on selling them, I don't think there will be a problem.
Um, this post feels devoid of content. Good luck?
For comparison, that means that if the cabbage guy from Avatar: The Last Airbender filled up his cart with lettuce instead, it would be about a quarter of a lethal dose.

It's under a Creative Commons BY-NC license, which pretty much means give Randall credit and don't profit from it.
