Also, who said you could stop PMing me? Huh!

I'm in a really weird mood today. And I have to leave for work in half an hour.

AND and and and and I'm actually knitting with this expensive ball of wool that I bought and cuddled and was too afraid to knit with because it was too pretty and expensive.

And this means I'll potentially post 3 new pictures of myself tomorrow.

Would I be posting so eloquently on the forums if my mother was under 18? (I know that comment wasn't really directed at me).

Anyway she's a teetotaller and it was really just an attempt to include a random (or not so random) thought. Kinda like:

So I just had my 750th post, well it's 751 now, and while I'm normally one for shouting to the clouds that my postcount goes up to an arbitrary number, it didn't feel right to do it. To have punctuated that reply by exclaiming GOGO POST 750 would have been seriously disrespectful in the context of that discussion. I guess somewhere in this decrepit mortal shell, a last bastion of humanitarian conscience resides.

If you're interested in getting into motion graphics, the best place to start is to send out your showreel. Emailing designers you like too is good for getting hints and tips into breaking into the industry. I'm not technically hired by the studio I work at. I'm being paid by a national film funding board to train in animation and ISO, where I work, is one of my work experience placements/internships.

Mini Rant not big enough for Rant Thread:

I just spent 6 hours with my work colleague trying to solve an analysis problem we had yesterday. After a whole day of work and almost giving up, we found the number "1.8" in an option sub-sub-sub menu which was meant to be "2.5".
We have no idea how it got changed.

Haha, he's fine. It snapped by the bridge because it was old and under too much tension me thinks.

He came to practice with that one string changed. I asked him why he didn't change the whole lot while he was at it, and he said, "You can tell he's a guitarist, can't you?"

I know it costs a lot to change bass strings, but when they age, you get major volume and tonal differences between the strings then!

He got through basically a whole gig without an A string. Impressive. Especially since we play a lot in E minor, which features A as the 4th, an a I, IV, V chord change is pretty common in metal. And he adds fills and shit in.

EDIT:

Nope. A string.

But to finish the joke: "I snapped my g string whilst fingering A minor."

And Sleepygamer, that's some damn good stuff you got going on there.
