My one year old is eating macaroni, and after every few bits, she's putting her hands on her cheeks and saying "Mmmmmm, pretty!"

Apparently, I make pretty macaroni.

I just got the results from my neuropsych exam back. What I feel is a crippling loss of function and memory still places me in the top two percent. Fuck yeah.

Also, a few days spent at home too sick to be able to turn a page leads me to the question: is there anything remotely progressive on television?

Indeed, cute kids. I find it impressive that your son had nice things to day about his little sisters. A boy I used to baby-sit that;s the same age was not as polite and happy as your kid is on camera.

Props for grood child rearing..thing.

Speaking of kids, my mom told me to go to bed..it's been a while since she's told me to do that.

I was rudely awoken at about 8:15 this morning, and told to cancel my plans for the day, because I have to fix my mum's computer.
2 hours in, and I've had no luck fixing the main one, or getting either of the two backups to even boot. (Luckily, I have my own intertubes up here in my room)

The problem with the main one is that it can't find the hard drive. BIOS works though, so the problem is post-motherboard, and it's not a hardware connection issue.
The problem with the backups is...I have no clue. Neither will do anything more than make hard-drivey noises and show me a blank screen, which is slightly odd, because I seem to remember them both working last time we used them.

I completely forgot I brought my origami book with me. And I have many many many pieces of square paper. Hoorahs!

Also, good morning all! I realise it's quarter past 1, but I define morning as up the first 4 hours afte I awake. Which makes things odd sometimes, but whatever.

Pfft. Thursdays are easy. It's Tuesdays that are hard.

Wednesday - Middle of the week. Yay!
Thursday - Only one more day to Friday! Yay!
Friday - After this period of time at school/work, I'm off for two days! Yay!
Saturday - I'm off! Yay!
Sunday - I have to go back to whatever tomorrow? Aww.. but at least I'm off today! Yay!
Monday - Aww.. first day back..... but at least I can tell everyone of the AWESOME that took place on the weekend!

Tuesday - The black pit of despair where you can't reminisce about what you were doing a day or two ago because a day ago was Monday and you already told everyone, you're staring at another four days (counting Tuesday) of the same shit ahead of you, and you can't goddamn wait for this shit to end.

So.. yeah, Tuesdays are the worst day of the week. Thursdays are easy.

.... and yes, I know it was a Hitchhiker reference. I never got it so well in that either, other than it's just a good random day to pick and Tuesday has too many obvious flaws to be a funny day to not get the hang of. Really, Thursday is the only acceptable choice that doesn't leave your protagonist seeming like a complete social reject while still being funny for being silly. Also, I overthink things.
