The lab coat I just bought is a size too small. The one I tried on in the store fit. This annoys me because they don't do refunds or exchanges.

I thought they were called babushka dolls. Turns out I'm correct, they are often called that, but incorrectly. Huh.

Yesterday night I was going completely crazy at home on my own, so (at about 23:00) I grabbed the 12p that was lying on the coffee table and walked to ASDA (part of the Wal-Mart family)! It took me ages to find a product that cost exactly 12p, but I finally found one - ASDA Smart Price Shampoo. I think it may be the only product ASDA sell that costs exactly 12p, actually.

But now I'm thinking it would've been far more awesome if I'd bought a 500ml of ASDA Smart Price curry paste (4p) and a pack of ASDA Smart Price batter mix (8p). Just to see the look on the clerk's face when I made a twelve pence transaction for curry paste and batter at midnight.

Hahaha! 'Kin hell, ASDA are absurdly, scarily cheap.
This one time, my flatmate, who was (is?) an alcoholic, had exactly (i mean, to the penny) five quid left in his account. So he recruited my super-math brain to help him go to the co-op and work out how to buy booze and other items adding exactly to £5, as the minimum card purchase in most places is a fiver. I can't remember what he got apart from booze, but I did manage to swing it so I scored myself a curly-wurly. Good times.
And then we found out there was no such minimum at the Co-op, and that he was now destitute. Good times indeed.

Heh. I, right now, have exactly $5 in my wallet.

Of course, this being America, trying to total a purchase to exactly $5 is pretty impossible. (Hint: There's no way in Hell I could afford one of those oh-so-tasty Subway $5 footlongs.)

So yes guys, Ptolom and I had no money to go to the cinema so we made these,
Spoiler:
Image

Shortbread, brownies and chocolate chip cookies. n_n
and put them in this
Spoiler:

and went door to door selling them for fifty pence a thing.

There was interest, but shortly after breaking even for ingredients we realised that if we sold everything we'd be left with disgusting inedible bits of metal and no delicious baked goods.
So, long story short. We still can't afford to go to the cinema, but now we have delicious lunch.

Well, I know that, but I'm wondering why/how? I've worked out less than this and been unable to walk for three days. Set a record on the elliptical and did 110 pushups (which is about 120 more than normal) and I'm just a little laggy.
