When a potential future landlady asks you to tell her some things about yourself what kind of things are important to include? I've given her my name, told her what I'm studying (she specifically asked for that) and told her that I have a job nearby where the flat I'm interested in is. Is there more I should be including?

I AM MAKING EGGS AND BACON. AND I'M MAKING MORE BACON THAN I COULD POSSIBLY NEED, WANT OR EAT!

Both a fleeting thought, and a suggestion as to what to tell your future landlady.

Day-umn, moving a trolley with 200kg worth of pavement tiles is more exhausting than I thought, even when you only have to move it a few metres. The extension to the garden will be well worth it, though!

I added the fact that I play several instruments but would be playing them in the uni's practise rooms and not in the flat and also that I don't have parties and if I go out I try not to come back really drunk in the early hours of the morning. Which is technically true because it's not like that's what I intend to happen, it just seems to always end up that way.

You might also mention that you are in a relationship (I think?), meaning you won't be bringing home lots of strangers overnight.
Also include a list of all your pets, listing number, noise level and nearby hospitals that stock the necessary antidotes.

And why can't my brain be happy about the savings like a good little consumer, instead of pointing out that it's still a lot of money for a tool I don't really need right now?

I spend all weekend working my hair thin with all the school-stuff I didn't do during the week.
During the first half of the week, I'm so exhausted from the weekend's studying that I don't do any work.

It's a vicious circle, I tells ya!

Is concrastination a word? Firefox doesn't think so, but it also thinks "Firefox" isn't a word.

Would that make precrastination the act of completing a task before it is set?

I need me some precrastination.

All that's required is some Libyan polonium, a flux capacitor, and a stylish car so I can go back in time to get my head out of my ass and get some course work done.

See now it's just getting scary, cos you may be me from the past. My first class on monday doesn't start 'til 12.30, and I really want to get up early to perhaps get some paperwork done (though probably to do very little and consider paperwork while I drink tea and eat cocopops during gilmore girls reruns).

But I really have to reach the ever-so-present college deadlines in order to not fuck myself and be able to move out and achieve my clear plan for the next year.

So, I'm talking about the movie Frailty with my family in the car when we see a car with a bumper sticker that reads "God may forgive you, but we won't ... We are coming." WTF at the coincidence, and WTF at whoever has that bumper sticker! I mean, seriously, what the hell.

I saw a car today that had a bunch of DnD bumper stickers, including 'I brake for Kobolds'. I was seriously wondering why they don't instead just run them over, being quite the evil little buggers and all.

Well yes, I suppose that's true. Stop outthinking me, it was merely a fleeting thought!

As for bands, have you tried The Shins, Cloud Cult, or Maybeshewill? None of those are exactly like the ones you listed, with Maybeshewill being quite a ways off, but I find them all to be quite enjoyable, especially The Shins' album Oh, Inverted World, the acoustic version of Pretty Voice by Cloud Cult, and He Films the Clouds, Pt. 2, by Maybeshewill.
