Agreed, I am certain that given a double-blind taste test of "Coke", "Diet Coke", "Pepsi", and "Diet Pepsi", I could accurately tell you which was which 100% of the time. If you added in "Coke Zero", I MIGHT confuse that with regular coke, but that is only because I do not drink regular coke. You could further add in "Pepsi Max", and I would be able to differentiate that from all five of the others. Cherry Diet Coke, and Cherry Diet Pepsi, I probably could also differentiate between, but I say that with less degree of certainty than my previous statements.

I prefer Macca's watered-down coke to the canned version from the shops, but I don't think I'd be able to tell you which was coke or pepsi, but then I rarely drink either.

Well...it's possible some people can really tell the difference, but it seems like most people think they can. Though I've seen some (not very rigorous) tests done where someone who thinks they prefer/can differentiate Pepsi/Coke tries to blindly identify one of them out of Pepsi, Coke, and some generic-brand version; they actually did worse than chance, often picking the generic one thinking it was their favorite brand. And I know from personal experience that it's bizarrely difficult to taste something at all, unless you think you know what it is (or isn't).

Still, I tried a "which of these Pepsi and Cokes which you don't know which is which tastes better" promo thing Pepsi was running a few years ago, and picked the Coke. So I dunno. Maybe it's all just random.

And I don't really like either of them anyway.

Eh, Pepsi is sweeter, and Coke has more of an aftertaste. I don't really prefer one over the other (go Dr Pepper!) though.

I want to sleep but I can't because I need to finish this report which is taking so long and not even this time is enough to get it done on time and it's my own fault because I'm so lazy but it's such a mess of an experiment that I didn't understand in the first place and trying to understand it in the morning is almost impossible.

FT: I wish I'd had an extra hour to finish this programming lab, because then I could turn it in early and get extra credit instead of just getting in on time. (Which, given how catastrophically badly I did on the midterm, I sorely need.)

Less-than-FT: When my lab buddy suggests a much more robust implementation method/algorithm I need to be less afraid of just rewriting my code instead of spending a bunch of time fiddling with stuff to see if I can make it work my way.

EDIT: Bleh, missed the early deadline by under an hour. (The code's done now.) Oh well. :\
There's a method to my madness. Somewhere. Don't worry, I'll find it!

FT: Most interesting things seem to occur near interfaces. Most people live near the coast. Most life lives near the surface of the earth. etc.

In High School Science, we did blind cola taste tests. Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Home Brand, and... uh... something else (Coke Zero and Pepsi Max and such things being not invented yet.) Both myself and my sister were the only people in our respective classes that could pick them all one hundred percent by taste, which amused me terribly at the time.

FOD bit, I thought throwing darts was my thing. What's your MO? Smoking is bad for you. I haven't watched late night TV, with the exception of Stewart Colbert, in Months. Watched a bit online, I enjoyed Montana's bit about the woodpeckers. Hope the sunshine is treating you well, and lay off the smokes! Accent could use a little work. Advanced Geometry.

In my county, a lot of small cars have DLX, and trucks have a single M either at the beginning, the end, or directly in the middle. It's just how the DMV organized license plates.
