One's a person who exploits a social situation for their own benefit, and the other's a carpetbagger?

One transports their worldly possessions in bags made of old carpet material, and the other puts his testicles on his fraternity brothers' faces?

Ok, so the spam software at work lets you either move a message to your inbox, or flag it as not spam, so as to let similar messages through directly. The fun part is that for some reason I can flag only certain messages. This means I have to manually move legitimate messages to my inbox, but I can flag the message with the subject "Add 2-4 inches on your smallPENIS, Guaranteed 100%" as not spam.

Okay, I could either wake up in... about 4 hours, walk two miles to my friend's house to get a ride to school in order to probably fail a test I have not prepared anywhere near enough for. It's the second of four and he drops the lowest grade, so it's not like I'd be losing a whole lot. On the other hand, I could surprise myself and do well on it (I destroyed the curve on the first test) thus saving my "free" test for another date.

Or I could sleep in and just skip it.

Dammit, I never had to make these decisions in high school...

I was being all good and going to the gym, except there is no one else there and you can't go in by yourself, so that's ruined...I have put out a plea on facebook for someone to join me, but that is unlikely to be successful, so my choices are going down again in a bit and hoping there's someone there, going for a run, or just not bothering to make any attempt at being good. I am not impressed with any of these options, really... :(

It was on TV tonight, and I watched maybe half or more of the Constantine movie tonight.

Turns out, if you can pretend that it is a completely independent movie not based on anything at all and that any similarity (not that there is all that much) is purely coincidental, it's a perfectly tolerable film.

The bottle of chardonnay meant that I could occasionally pretend that, so it was somewhat entertaining.

Tilda Swinton makes that movie awesome.

the fact that it's based off an awesome comic that it essentially ignores is shitty, but that's unfortunate.

Next tuesday, I have two presentations due in the same class. Two papers on a fairly complex technique and topic, and a summary of my rotation project. No biggie. But today, I got this email from a prof;

"There will not be enough time for us to do all the rotation talks AND for Zach's presentation on Tuesday, so we propose to move Zach's talk to the following week."
