That was pretty much our game plan. Get him into the post, put a shot up, watch him rebound it and throw it back in. He'd score 30 points a game on put-backs alone. His only problem was he was like Peyton Manning in the pocket.

My only recommendation on the exercise is don't overdo it to start. It is so tempting to jump in full throttle, but that will only hurt you and the three people next to you.

Don't look at me...I have absolutely nothing against nipples.

On the exercise thing...the other day, I found a list I made about four years ago listing every 9-foot song on the university bowling alley's DDR machine. Before graduating that spring (and no longer being able to use that machine), I crossed off all but seven of the fifty-some songs. I still play on my PS2 occasionally, but...I have nowhere near the stamina I did back then. I look at the first song I crossed off that list, Can't Stop Fallin' in Love (speed mix) and wonder "How the hell was I ever capable of doing that?"

I really should make an attempt to get into something resembling shape.

It's your duty to ignore that stupid shit. Don't give em the satisfaction. They feed on your emotions. I know there's evil shit in the world. Nothing positive or productive comes from listening, watching, or reading the case by case. It poisons your brain. Find threads with subjects that are thought provoking and productive. Find things that are aimed at solving problems rather than working the masses into a frenzy. How do you change the behavior? How do you change the condition? What's preventing change?

Speaking of change,
Spoiler:
I can't believe people are selling out their elected officials so quickly. Obama showed up in the white house with a chess board sitting on the desk. He picked up where Bush left off, took a few pieces, and moved closer to even ground. Now the pawns wanna scatter leaving their best interests exposed? That's the best argument for the republican party. They can't lead, they can even stay together for a single damn year. If you're a turncoat screaming "where's my steak dinner", you should be ashamed. No one's gonna feel sorry for the scattering pawnsheeple as they're run down in the fields. Show a little unity and some backbone.

The problem I see is that people want change NOW. Now now now now now now now. They don't want to have to wait while it is done properly through the channels, as it is supposed to happen. They want everything done yesterday. Screw the rules, gimme gimme gimme.

That's a hard position to fight from, when you have people screaming for things they should have had by now, but you just got into a position to start to provide.

Your average sack-o-meat going from 10 years of sedentary to 30 minute jog is going to end up with at least one of the following:

Shin splints
Pulled muscle
Strained knee
Fractured heel
Torn achilles tendon
Cardiac arrest
Pulmonary dysfunction
Massive dehydration
Erectile dysfunction

and last but not least

A strong desire to never do that again.

Our culture is part to blame for selling the "NOW/What have you done for me lately" mentality.

Spoiler:
It's like a dying NFL franchise firing a new coach after one season. And rehiring the old coach! Oh, my bad, you're just eliminating the offensive coordinator position in year 2. Hell, I might even break out some shears! Slice me off a piece of that jerky. No point in going hungry when there's so much easy prey roaming the plains. Sell em some baconaise in a tinfoil hat. Marinade the noodle. nom nom nom

Time to start selling a new narrative! Remember, Private bacon foil is armed to the teeth and hopped up on meth. Keep exporting those jobs and building more prisons. Charter schools and "no child left behind" is great, but what are they gonna do without jobs? And we're bickering about the most trivial of shite. Hell, I'd be happy as a clam for my kids (If I had any) to say "in god we trust". You could burn a frog every morning as an offering to spankathalamus. Just as long as it was right before the science class that's gonna allow them to compete in a global economy. I'm sure they'll come to their own conclusions when they're dissecting Spanky's cousin. How do you charge those laptops? I'm done, that's the last of the bees.

Is that really e-mail's fault? I'm pretty certain if you walked up to the people in question and asked them face to face you wouldn't get much more done either. On the other hand you would spend a lot of time walking around, so you might indeed feel a bit better...
